We are delighted to introduce you to our fabulous ‘New Look’ website that has been in the development stage for quite a while! This was a large part of a branding project undertaken last year to refresh and rejuvenate not only the site but our logo as well as our gear, to have the look and feel of the brand ‘Galway Triathlon Club’ consistent across our activities.
The unveiling of our new site which is now live has been the culmination of many tasks being completed over the past number of months, we are delighted with the result of what really is our ‘clubhouse’ today. Over the next few weeks the new site will become the hub for information for members with updated training schedules, news stories, meet the members section, GTC long distance ‘Hall of Fame’, gear corner and much more.
Huge thanks must go to Noel Cassidy of Solution 2d for his work on the refreshing of our logo but especially in the design of the website. It is time consuming to write and put up the content on the site, but to have an excellent framework within which to work makes all the difference. We are hugely grateful to Noel for the countless hours he has volunteered to make the site user friendly and engaging not only for existing members but for people who may wish to join the club in the future.
One of the most exciting aspects of the new site is the facilitation of the online registration for our Junior Section, it is now finally possible for all members to join online! The Junior section will be officially launched in the coming weeks and we will be inviting members and the general public to join us and find out about the fantastic work out Junior section is facilitating with our athletes of the future.
We hope you like our new look site, if you have an idea for any additional sections or would be interested in writing some content for the site please get in touch. Thanks everyone for your patience with the overall project!
Please note: We are currently finalising the mobile optimised version of the site so it currently is best viewed on a laptop/ PC or using a safari browser on your phone / tablet
