Well done to Karen Cassidy GTC Winner of the The Galway Women's Cycling Series, to Runner-up Michelle McKinney (Galway Bay Cycling Club), followed by Joanne Murphy GTC in 3rd place and to everyone who took part, it was a great event run by a very dedicated Karen Malherbe and Padraic Benson - thanks guys. Galway City Big Clean Up

On Sunday 22nd there is a big clean up in Galway City. As part of this, sports clubs across the City are being asked to support by cleaning up ‘their playground’. GTC have been allocated Blackrock and the Prom. If willing and able, please meet on Sunday 22nd @2.00pm at Blackrock Diving Tower. Octopus Swimming Club

Galway Triathlon Club are proud to announce their support for Octopus Swimming Club. Octopus Swimming Club, which was founded in 1981 for people with physical disabilities, is no ordinary swimming club. It operates using the ‘Halliwick’ concept, which, basically, allows people with disabilities – be it spinal cord, amputee, head injury, stroke, spina-bifida, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, visual impairment, among others – to become “water free”.
