Weekend Results Swinford / Antwerp

Congratulations to those Racing half IM and IM this weekend

Humbert Challenge Half IM.

A wonderful course where the locals put in a huge effort to make this an excellent race. The swim was nice and calm in the lake. The wind seemed to be at your back all the way around the course. The run, well 2 out of 3 ain't bad. The run didn't disappoint and made this event a challenge. A wonderful spread was put on back Swinford with 2nd's and event 3rds. Overall a huge success and we wish the Swinford Club success in the future.

For the race Marrey took to the cycle like a demon and ate up the course like a ravenous half man half bicycle famished beast. Ruaidhri tried to chase him down on the run but the gap of only a few minutes was too much.

Congratulations to Kristin Riall who won an Age Group Category.

Ruaidhri Geraghty 4.32 (2nd Place)

Tony McNicholas 5.19

John Flannery 5.23

Kieran Whyte 5.29

Kristin Riall 6.10 (1st Age Group)

Padraic Moran 6.49

Antwerp Half IM

The weather was great, and tensions were high in Antwerp on Sunday morning. Four lean mean triathlon machines prepared to rip up the city course (after much cursing at the microwave in the hotel).Team spirits were high right to the finish line, when four of the countrys top athletes finished a very tough course in incredible style and fashion. Official results below; race report to follow:
