Coached Swimming Lessons & Video Stroke Analysis Spring 2010

Vidoe Stroke Analysis

Galway Triathlon Club will hold a swimming stroke analysis clinic in the NUIG Kingfisher pool on Sat next Feb 27^th starting at 9am.

Participants will have their stroke videoed from a number of different angles and afterwards have the stroke analysed on screen by a swimming coach in a one to one session. People are urged to bring a Memory Key with them on the day so they can take their own video clips home with them.

Beginners Coached Swimming Lessons

Beginners Coached sessions are now open. Sessions will be:
Wednesday 7am – 8am: 10 Weeks from 3rd March 2010 – Kingfisher, NUIG. (St Patricks day excl.). The coach for this session is Grace.

Intermediate/Improvers Coached Sessions

We are provisionally planning to run coached sessions for improver/ intermediate level swimmers. Swimmers taking these lessons need to be at a level where they are comfortable to swim at least between 400 and 1000 Meters continuously and are looking to improve technique and/or increase distance.

The sessions will be Mon Morning 7-8 am from Mar 22 in NUIG Kingfisher.

Cost €70.

Register your interest on the websites contact page for "Swimming Coaching Spring 2010" and quoting “Intermediate Coached sessions”. The first 16 names will be confirmed on the course, however if there is not sufficient interest then the course will not be run.

All participants are required to be both Galway Triathlon club members and members of TI to partake in any of the clubs events.
