| AGM 2009 - New Committee |
The GTC AGM took place last Thursday evening attended by over 25 members. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Deirdre Hassett who reviewed the clubs activities in 2009. This was followed by a race review presented by Eileen Sweeney, which in turn was followed by the statement of finances from David Bermingham. The 2010 committee was then elected and the following positions were filled – New Committee 2010:Chairperson : Padraic Moran Treasurer : Dave Birmingham Club Coach : Ray Glynn Race Director: Tony McNicholas Secretary: Keith Connolly PRO: Richie McCarthy Web : Richard O' Shaughnessy Aquathons: John Cunniffe Swim Co-ordinator: Garret Maher Bike Co-ordinator: Owen Percy Child Protection Officer : Miriam Wall. The meeting was concluded after a debate on the results of the members survey and a presentation of ‘2009 the Tri year in pictures’The New committee is already eagerly at work planning 2010 and hoping to add to and enhance your experience of club life next year.
