Club AGM - Thur 29th October 2009

Dear Member,

The club committee is preparing for the end of year club A.G.M., which will take place on Thursday the 29th of October in the Menlo Park hotel at 7:30PM

The AGM is an opportunity for all members of the club to meet and review the past year’s activities and achievements and to look forward to 2010.

At the Centre of the AGM agenda will be the requirement to elect officers to the committee which will run the club in 2010. There are a significant number of people who have contributed not only in 2009 but in many years previous as well who, for a variety of personal reasons, have decided not to seek re-election to the committee in 2010.

The Committee would like to take this opportunity to ask members to consider putting their names forward for any position on the committee which they may be interested in taking up. Members can nominate themselves to any role. The club is mandated to represent all types of members from elite athletes to beginners, men and women and even have a social officer on the committee. There is something there for you.

Bearing this in mind it is very important to have as large a presence as possible from the membership on the night in order to ensure the committee elected has the broadest representation from the club’s members. Don't worry if you are new to the club, or new to the sport, all help is welcome!!

There will be some fun and spot prizes on the night as well, all work and no play... as we all know.
