Congratulations to GTC member Reilly Dibner winner of the Lough Key triathlon on Sunday Last. A hughly impressive mornings work in the water saw our very own Galafornian (or Calwegian) leap from the legendery waters of Lough key in fifth place overall in an impressive 13:08.
From there she powered her famous red,white and Blue steed around the picturesque countryside near the forest park in 46:26 to extend her lead over her nearest rival. By the time the foot rush had begun there was clear light between Reilly and Deirdre Lynn of Liquid Motion club, but a stong 22:55 form the GTC athlete saw her have a comfortable margin in the end.
This win, the first of the year for the club's ladies, marked Reillys first race back after a terrible injury which she picked up high up on the cliffs at the Hell of the West back at the end of June, making the win all the more remarkable.
